The Team -
Little Muddy Me

Victoria Egarr

Having worked as a registered childminder since 2012, and as a nanny previously, I have accrued 17 years experience of caring for children. My Ofsted report rates my childminding setting as 'Outstanding'. I believe that children’s needs are best met when space and resources allow them to play and learn.

I enjoy inventing new activities to engage and excite little minds. I have a particular interest in sensory play and helping children to explore the outdoors.

I have been in childcare for 25 years. I am a mum of 2 and have worked in day nurseries, as a childminder, in schools and preschools. I have lots of experience with a particular interest in children with SEND and who need behavioural support.

I have a passion for children's learning and development and I believe children are all different and should be treated that way. In the forest I hope to support and guide the children so that they can recognise who they are, their own abilities, self esteem and grow into amazing young people.

For 20 years I have worked in the customer service and administrative roles within the business sector.

I had been wanting to take these skills into a different sector and when the Little Me opportunity presented itself it felt perfect.

I have 2 boys who have both attended Little Me, I really enjoy being part of the team that makes Little Me the perfect place for your little ones.

I am an energetic, lively person with a positive outlook. I believe in providing a positive, safe and engaging environment for young minds to learn and flourish in the safety of a controlled environment.

I have worked with children for the last twenty years, teaching young people English at a Spanish school for over 10 years, laterally here in the UK as a Nanny to working families locally, and volunteer work at Barnardo's and most recently with Vicki at Little Me's since the Spring of 2019 and now i'm working towards my level 3 Forest leader qualification.

I'm so excited to be working at Little Muddy Me's, teaching children about nature and the environment.

I joined Muddy Me to pursue a career in childcare.

I enjoy working outside and I also volunteer as a scout leader so i feel I have some very valuable skills to bring to Muddy Me.

I am currently working towards my NVQ level 3 in Childcare

I joined Muddy Me because I enjoy working with children and I'm interested in the benefits of outdoor play.

I work at Muddy Me on a Thursday and Friday and Monday-Wednesday I'm a swimming teacher.
